My fee for an individual 60-minute office-based counseling session is $140.
Group counseling fees vary based on the length and number of meetings and the need for a co-therapist for some groups. In general, the range for group therapy is $40-$50 per session.
A 60-minute equine-assisted psychotherapy session is $160. The fee for these sessions is higher due to the increased costs to provide this service.
Many insurance companies will reimburse you for part of my fee or apply my fee to your yearly deductible, even if I am not an in-network provider. I will provide documentation to support a claim if you decide to submit one.
I am a preferred provider for the following insurance companies:
Optum/United - EAP
United Healthcare (CO)
Cigna - EAP
United Student Resources (CO)
I work with many regional human service agencies to provide counseling to survivors of interpersonal crime. If you are seeking counseling following a crime, you may be eligible for Victim's Assistance support.

Please note: Despite strong evidence of its effectiveness, most insurance companies will not yet approve payment for equine-assisted psychotherapy sessions. Equine-assisted psychotherapy is covered through most Victim's Assistance plans.
Most of my clients are self-pay, however I do work with a limited number of clients who use mental health benefits through their medical insurance. Please give me a call to discuss using your insurance benefits.

I am usually able to see new clients within 3-5 days for an initial appointment. After that, we'll figure out a good day and time for a regular weekly or bi-weekly meeting.
If you decide to pay with insurance, the timeline may be different.
